One of Brighton and Hove's two family owned and run Tin Drum restaurants can be found amongst the many bars, cafes and shops at the Seven Dials roundabout. With lots of seating inside and if the weather is nice, terraced seating also available, this is a place to relax and start the day in comfort. Though the brunch menu only has four items, what we had was full of flavour and better presented than found at some of the city's more expensive breakfast locations.

Our choice of two Full English's (one with eggs and one without) showed that the quality of ingredients they source was high, their website says that they source locally and even have produce brought in from their own farm. The friendly waitress without us asking made sure that as I had requested no eggs I got a larger mushroom and more bacon to make up for it. Happy days!

The only downside to the breakfast was in my opinion the bacon. Compared to the other ingredients I thought that it was lacking in flavour, too fatty and had a watery texture when chewed. However, the inclusion of a creamy bubble and squeak more than made up for it and a rich, flavoursome and frothy cappuccino (extra to the breakfast) made it a very successful trip and well worth a second visit.
