Usually we have passed over bakeries thinking of them as being not worthy a review.  But special circumstances deserve a special mention.  At three locations in Brighton & Hove you will now be able to try a bit of what France does best, here on our shore.  If amazing bread, cakes, tarts, sausage rolls or eclairs are needed to prise you out of bed first thing in the morning, then this is the place for you.

After minutes of trying to chose from the vast selection, I finally settled on an almond and chocolate croissant.  Taking a seat at a small table by the window the warm, freshly baked croissant was quickly devoured and washed down with a fine cup of tea.  Even if you are not in the mood for gaining a couple of thousand calories, its worth popping in it you are in need of any bread as their prices are also very good.  A large loaf of sour dough bread comes in at £2.30, £1.50 cheaper than what I found in Chiswick.  The sausage rolls and carrot cake would also make a great mid-morning snack.  I better stop typing now before I drool too much on my keyboard!   Stop reading and go and eat!
